2023 EEO-1 Data Collection Begins April 30, 2024!
The EEO-1 Component 1 data collection will begin on Tuesday April 30, 2024. The deadline to file is Tuesday June 4, 2024.
The report contains data on workforce demographics including the number of employees in each job category by sex, and race or ethnicity.
This report is a requirement for all private sector employers who have 100 or more employees, and for all federal contractors that have 50 or more employees and that meet certain criteria.
2024 New Labor Regulations: MA, NY, IL, and CA
2024 brings new labor regulations impacting California, Illinois, Massachusetts, and New York. Ensure your organization remains compliant – update handbooks and payroll systems as needed. Provide any necessary training to Human Resources teams so that they are sufficiently familiar with any changes in regulations.
Report all Managing Employees
For Medicare provider enrollment purposes, CMS has clarified that hospice medical directors and administrators are considered managing employees. All managing employees must be reported. Hospice agencies that have not reported their medical directors and administrators as managing employees must immediately report this information.
Beneficial Ownership Reporting
In an effort to enhance transparency and combat money laundering and other financial crimes, FinCEN has implemented the requirement for entities to identify and report the individuals who ultimately own or control a legal entity. Entities created before January 1, 2024 must file by January 1, 2025. Entities created in 2024 have 90 calendar days to file.
